If you are looking for an EXPERIENCE I can't recommend Bazaar highly enough. Yes the food was delectable and each morsel was perfectly balanced and expertly crafted but beyond that, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and even took us on a tour of the seven kitchens. The staff clearly loves what they do and it elevates the experience even more. A fine dining, elegant atmosphere made this an experience to remember. We splurged on the ultimate tasting experience and it was well worth the money for the remarkable and fun evening.
The best service, great ambiance, and delicious food! We came to Bazaar Meat before a show at Fontaine Bleu and they were extremely attentive that we would make our show on time and without sacrificing on service. Stephanie, was the best and her service alone is something that would make me come back for! We did The Ultimate Tasting menu, and it was definitely more than enough food for two people. Tbh, I would not redo the same tasting menu a second time, since it was just too much food and is quite pricey. Favorites: Marinated 'Ferran Adrià' Olives Shrimp Cocktail Bison, Buffalo-Style "Beefsteak" Tomato Tartare Japanese A5 Wagyu Beef Grilled Asparagus The rest of the items were either good or alright imo. I think the tasting menu, gives you a sense for what the restaurant is all about, but it's also a lot of food and we weren't able to bring our leftovers with us. The desserts were aplenty but as someone who doesn't have a huge sweet tooth, I could've done without. I'd definitely come back and order a la carte next time, since the tasting menu was so filling. Sidenote, the vibes and music were amazing. Very dramatic decor with great edm.
One of the things we try to do on every trip is to have an upscale dining experience. Typically, we find a Michelin star rated place if we're in that kind of city, but in Vegas, you have to go over the top. That's exactly what we expected from the ultimate tasting menu at bazaar meats. It's easy to forget how much Jose Andres and Feran Adria worked together, but it shows in the number of early courses based on molecular gastronomy. Deconstructed and reconstructed olives are an interesting re-presentation of a flavor you thought you knew. And meat. Oh, is there meat. And fire. And showmanship. From cocktails to tableside carving of iberico pork... all the senses are delivered to. For me, it happened to be my first true taste of A5 Wagyu beef. Now I understand what the hype is about, but I also know better than to order more than an ounce or two at any given time because it's just so rich. Finishing up with a steak that has been resting over the fire before it's thrown on and charred to the perfect consistency inside and out is a great way to end the experience. You walk out with the flavor and texture of grilled beef being the thing that is seared into your memory, no pun intended. If you like meat, and if you like interesting culinary experiences, this is definitely a tasting menu worthy experience.
"I will eat whatever makes me feel like a lion!" - Jose Andres A fitting quote for this restaurant which is completely meat-centric. Bazaar Meat is located inside the Sahara hotel on the Vegas strip. My husband and I dined here for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. One thing that was disappointing was the wait despite the reservation we had made in advance on Open Table. We still had to wait about 15-20 minutes and then we were seated at a bar-like low counter seat instead of at a table. The restaurant was extremely busy so we decided not to complain and just made the most of our slightly less than ideal seating. We ordered the pre-fixe menu (The Ultimate Tasting at $295/person) which included the following: - Caviar Cone: Delicate and tasty. Loved the thin and crisp texture of the cone. - Cotton Candy Foie Gras: So fun and creative! Eat this in one bite! - Marinated Ferran Adria Olives: Just okay, but I'm not an olive lover. - Shrimp Cocktail: plump, juicy shrimp - Not Your Everyday Caprese Salad: unique "salad" but more like a pesto. - Bison, Buffalo Style: thinly sliced like a carpaccio - Jamon Iberico de Bellota: came with a tableside presentation. I expected more for the taste to be honest. It was a little too dry for me. - Sobrasada Toast: cheesy, savory and a welcome carb break for me - Beefsteak Tomato Tartare: fresh and delicious, on a romaine lettuce leaf - The Classic Tartare: came out as sliders. - Japanese A5 Wagyu Beef: prepared tableside, came with a Bonsai tree decoration which was random but I appreciate the storytelling and creativity. Quality of the meat was excellent. - Washugu Ribeye: delicious! - Buttered Potato Puree - Seasonal Mushrooms - Grilled Asparagus: The previous 3 sides were good, standard, and not memorable. I could have done without them. - Desserts: cream puffs, assorted tarts, little cookies. Cute little sweet bites. The meal was very filling. We had a great experience and the food was creative and amazing. I felt like a carnivore eating all kinds of meat in various forms from raw to cured to oak-wood fired and seared. I would recommend this place for a fun and unique dining experience and to celebrate a special occasion.
My husband and I came here for dinner for his birthday weekend. OMG, the whole dining experience was amazing. We were almost 30 minutes late for our reservation due to unexpected traffic, and they were still able to accommodate us when we got there, without any hustle. Our waiter, Sunday, was amazing from the beginning to the end. My husband was interested in learning about how they cooked their steaks, and Sunday even walked us over to the kitchen staff, and has them explain their cooking process to us. I got the Ultimate Tasting and my husband ordered a ribeye plus a couple types of Japanese Wagyu, but I was still able to share some of my food with him like the sides (Sunday advised us that the sides would be enough for us to share vs my husband getting his own, and he was right). Sunday even had extra items brought to our table that are his favorite on the menu. My husband has a nut allergy, so the staff was careful to separate out anything that contained nuts where possible or advise us when it was brought to the table. At the end, they made sure that we had an assortment of desserts that were nut free for both of us to enjoy. The overall dining experience was about 2.5 hrs, so make sure you have the time because every minute of it was well worth it. Never did we feel like we were waiting too long. They time bringing out the next course perfectly. At the end of the night, we were stuffed, and enjoyed the amazing meal and service. I highly recommend coming here for an amazing dining experience in a quiet atmosphere. We will definitely be coming again.
If you're ever in Vegas and feeling fancy enough to do a tasting menu with your partner, I recommend Bazaar. Their uniquely designed interior to the scientific and elegant cuisine using gastronomy is out of this world! Every single item served was delightful. I would've given them a 5 star if the service was just as impeccable. Unfortunately, they're lacking in that aspect. It took a while for our water glass to be topped off and the server was not as attentive. I'm used to having wonderful conversations with our server at every high end restaurant I've been to so I was a little disappointed when I didn't have that same experience here. I specifically also told our server that I have a peanut allergy and our dessert they served us had peanuts, but at least they corrected their mistake. Nonetheless, the food itself is amazing and I would still highly recommend to check this place out at least once in your life.
Great but definitely pricey. This place is for special occasions. Located inside Sahara hotel which is at the end of the strip (past encore). We came here because we were also seeing the Magic Mike show. We got the oysters (so fresh and delicious), olives (this was ok I wasn't a fan but my friend loves it), classic tartare (a little salty but still good), mushrooms, and wagyu (the price is per pound but I think 2 pounds might be the min, I would def clarify this with your server). This is all between two of us. I was super full. Wagyu was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. I also had two beers. The total was close to $400. Ambiance, staff, service, and food were all wonderful! Place was pretty packed on a fri night and we went right when it opened at 5pm.
